5 ways to make a smoothie healthier

Smoothies are generally healthy but here are 5 ways to make a smoothie healthier!

 

1.     Use fruits as a replacement for sweeteners.

2.     Change your liquid. Alternate types of milk can bring in more nutrients than other milks.

3.     Add veggies.

4.     Add omega-fats. These can be hard to incorporate into your meals, so you can try adding them into your smoothie!

5.     Throw in some nuts. These will keep you fuller for longer.
